Additional Site Site Features

Picnic Shelter
The picnic shelter can be reserved for group events as the Nature Center schedule allows.  Reservations are required and fees apply.  Interested groups must contact the Nature Center Director for availability, site use fees, and a contract.

Our picnic shelter is available on a first-come, first-served basis unless it has been previously reserved.  Any intended use by a group beyond one hour or 25 guests requires a reservation.

The dates that the shelter is reserved are listed inside the shelter.  If a group arrives for their designated reserved time and another group is in the shelter we ask that you kindly explain the reservation policy.

Corn Crib
The corn crib is another original farm building that has been repurposed.  The middle section is used as an outdoor classroom/program area.  The north side is referred to the Prairie Lookout.
