Last October, Sugar Grove Nature Center celebrated five years since opening our doors, trails, and gardens, and we are delighted that the Nature Center has become a special place for so many individuals and families! Thousands of people visit to participate in programs, special events, seasonal celebrations, or just to enjoy a walk with friends and family. Schools from across central Illinois visit for field trip experiences and our partnerships with local Universities and Colleges provide education through on-site research and internship experiences. Visitors from near and far stop in to enjoy our interpretive exhibits, live animals, and wildlife viewing room. Program fees and grants fund only a portion of our operation. As a non-profit organization that receives no tax support, we rely on donations from our friends in the community for a significant portion of our budget. Generosity from people like you will help us continue to offer quality programs, a warm and friendly facility, and beautiful grounds to explore. Memberships run from October 1 to September 30 of the following year. To cut costs, we will not be mailing a renewal form individually to each member, so please take this as your opportunity to contribute. Your support is essential! If you have already renewed your membership for this year, thank you.
Members enjoy many benefits (see membership
form for details below.) Sugar Grove Nature Center is a member
of the Association of Nature
Center Administrators (ANCA), which in turn entitles our
members to reciprocal benefits at other Nature Centers
throughout the country. As a tax exempt, non-profit
organization, all donations to the Sugar Grove Foundation are
tax-deductible. Please consider becoming a member of Sugar Grove
Nature Center today! |
